Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Masters of Jewish Communal Service and Leadership, Doctoral Candidate (PhD),
As a 'values' focused leader, I have a passion for good governance and leadership practices in the NFP sector. I have provided extensive education and support to NFP boards, including in the areas of ethical practices, compliance, strategic planning and policy development. I work toward the importance of supporting women through mentorship and the consistent message acknowledging the importance and benefits that gender diversity bring to leadership. I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Following governance submissions provided to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse(ICSA), I am now a Doctoral Candidate at Monash University researching Australian Jewish leadership and ICSA. I have presented as Keynote speaker at a major Australian national Director's Conference on my research. I undertake additional work in development of child safety policy as well as assisting organisations where incidents may have occurred. I have served as a Victorian Multicultural Commissioner, on the boards of Jewish Care and NCJWA (State and National), Jewish Museum of Australia and Chair the board of Anika Legal Ltd. I am a past president of Caulfield Junior College and past Editor of Gesher Journal. I am a Foundation Donor to the Radical Centre Reform Lab, dedicated to engaging with Australia's diverse communities, to further work on a First Nations Constitutional Voice, as advocated within the Uluru Statement. I am also a member of the Board of Advisors of the John Curtin Research Centre. I have received a range of awards and acknowledgements for governance expertise, leadership, community and volunteer contributions.
