My Biography

I have over thirteen years experience in scientific research focused on carbon sequestration, land use and management, and four years specialising in program design, monitoring and evaluation. More recently I have specialised in developing science based targets to support the sustainable transformation of the Australian food and land use system. I am a passionate and dynamic individual with diverse skills and experience, a global explorer dedicated to the mitigation of and adaptation to climate change. I have a strong sense of social and environmental justice. I believe that information sharing and story telling play a critical role in the future of transforming science into knowledge, and the successful integration of best practice science into policy. My key areas of interest and expertise are: sustainable land use, land use change, soil management; carbon sequestration; biodiversity and ecosystem resilience; climate solutions; climate change mitigation and adaptation. I am committed to finding innovative and creative solutions to the key challenges we face in tackling climate change and reducing our footprint on the planet.
