BA Early Childhood
Lisa worked in Early Childhood Education for 15 years. In 2013 Lisa was then approached to be the founding Co-ordinator and educational leader at Yavneh Crèche. In her first year in the role, under Lisa's leadership the Early Learning Centre was awarded an 'exceeding' rating of excellence for their assessment conducted by ACECQA. After taking maternity leave, Lisa had a career change, moving to the Community Security Group as office manager. Over her 4 years at the CSG her role evolved with her focus shifted to fundraising and community engagement. As Head Community Relations & Fundraising she established a new donor wing, exceeded the annual appeal target 3 years running and was a member of the Victorian Jewish Community Covid Taskforce. In her role, she worked closely with major stakeholders and the wider community. Her warm and engaging nature together with her can-do attitude meant that she was highly successful at developing important partnerships and relationships. As CEO at NCJWA, Lisa is thrilled to be embarking on a new, challenging chapter of her career. Combining her skills as an educator, manager and fundraiser with her passion for women’s rights, equity and advancement of women in the Jewish community, really is a dream come true.
